I have a new computer that has LabVIEW 7 64-bit. Installed LabVIEW 2010 64-bit but was not able to install RT. Received warning that I needed to install LaVIEW 2010 32-bit when trying to install RT. I searched but could not find RT 64-bit. I have developer suite professional. I seem to remember having had problems installing LabVIEW 2009 and 2010 32-bit and was receiving errors about it being a 64-bit system which is why i tried to install 64-bit.
What should I do or how should I install everything? I need all the RT stuff?

Most Toolkits (except Vision) don't have a 64-bit version. So if you want to use any toolkits (other than Vision) you'll have to install the 32-bit version of LabVIEW.

In the second link, only the modules without asterisk in the 2nd column (x64) have native 64-bit support. All modules with an asterisk are 32-bit versions (thus requiring LV 32-bit) and run in the emulation layer.

Actually I have windows 7 (x86) so according to your chart I can install just about anything on it. I am uninstalling all my 64 bit Ni software now. However I recall that when I installed LabVIEW 2009 and then tried to install the f2 patch it would not allow me. I am going to try to install 32 bit again.

You're saying you have Windows 7 64-bit, so that would be x64. Else you couldn't install LV 64-bit.
Anyway, as mentioned in my previous post and on the chart for most toolkits only 32-bit versions exist, and these are only compatible with LV 32-bit.

In the subject you wrote "... on 64-bit windows 7 system". But never mind, important message is that if you're using toolkits you need to install LV 32-bit, no matter if the OS is 32- or 64-bit.
