you should have searched the drivers at zone.ni.com.  You would have had them already.
here is a link

That's an IVI error so have you also installed the IVI compliance package? Have you tried the LabVIEW driver or do you really need IVI?

On the afg3021 page, there are 2 native LabVIEW drivers and the IVI driver. You must have selected the IVI driver. If you have LabVIEW 8.2 or higher, I would recomend the project style driver. There will be a least one example with the driver and in the example finder, it will be under Hardware Input and Output>instrument Drivers>LabVIEW Plug and Play.

I tried with ICP2.5 because my MAX is 4.0.2, I made a IVI session with the driver session tkafg3k,  but I still get the following error:

tkafg3k Initialize With Options.vi<ERR>Driver Status:  (Hex 0xBFFA0000)

I'm sorry about the bothers.

Juan

If you don't require IVI, why do are keep trying that driver? Have you even tried the any of the LabVIEW drivers? If not, why?

That version of MAX is very old. What version of LabVIEW and NI-VISA are you using?

I have LabVIEW 7.1 and NI-VISA 4.0.

What do you mean with LabVIEW drivers, where can I find them and how can I use them, if you have some book or reference may be better.

Thanks

Juan
