Hardware timed delay AI and AO using daqmx. I'm getting delay of 3 second or more bewteen my AO signal and the AI response?

I using compactdaq with 1 AO module, 2 Analog Voltage, and 1 TC module. I have a hardware timed setup with the AO and AI running on continuous mode. My problem is that I'm getting a 3 second delay from the AO signal and the AI response. I need to know how the eliminate this delay.

What is kind of hardware timed setup that you have configured?  Can you post the waveforms so that forum can have a better picture of the problem.

Im using Compact Daq Chassis with modules 9215, 9263, 9211. I should clarify the problem. The delay is between the execution of the Labview program and the daq.

If I command a AO waveform to be a constant 3 Volt, then the 9263 module AO will output a voltage at 3 volts 3 to 4 seconds after it was commanded too.

The program wired the same as the AO Hardware timed examples in the Labview Help Menu.

Hello,

Do you get the same delays if you try to use test panels in Measurement and Automation Explorer on your devices?  Is there anything in your code that takes some time to execute causing the voltage update to take longer than needed?
