HP34970 Driver problem

Hello,
I downloaded the Driver of aglient 34970 from NI.website . Also I have installed 34901&34904 into the SLOT 100&300 of DAQ34970.Right now the phenomenon is when I opene the "HP 34970 advanced scan example.vi " ,key in the 102 into the channel list and try to read the voltage on the board, problem happens~~~~no response!
Can anyone help to check the VI for me? If the vi is ok, the 34901 must out of work. Thanks a lot.

Evan

Right now, I can't check the version you just downloaded but I have run this VI before in older versions of the driver and had no problems. What exactly do you mean by 'no response'. Does the voltage come back incorrectly, is there a LabVIEW error generated, or does the instrument indicate an error condition? Can you open/close relays on the 34904? Can you take a voltage reading with the instrument's front panel? Does your model of the 34970 actually have the DMM installed?

The first thing I would do would be to take the measurement manually. If you verify that the instrument does have the DMM installed, try the 34901 in a different slot. If you suspect the 34901, these are steps that Agilent tech support would have you do before returning the card.

Hi Dennies,
The root cause is the internal DMM was disabled!   Thanks for your quick response.
BTW, How to change the final readings formate in the  "Agilent 34970 advanced scan.vi" from floating point to decimal?

Evan
