HELP PLEASE!! Excel Question

Hello,

I don't even know how to describe what I want to do so I hope somebody can help me, lol!!

What I'm tying to accomplish is a weekly figures sheet, so that on Monday I can put (for example) 50 in a cell, save it then on Tues I could put a 10 in the same cell and it will change it to 60, rather than overwriting the 50 and just leaving a 10! If any of that makes sense??

I'm hoping to get this done for my manager asap so any help would be very very much appreciated!!!!!

What happens if you use the "Write to spreadsheet file" function and wire the "Append to file?" input?

Read the cell you are trying to update, add the new figure to the existing you just read and then write the new value back into the cell.

Aha! I missed that part of her OP. That is definitely the way to go. 🙂
