Help! How can I import a windows metafile or a bitmap file from Autocad R14 with a transparent background. Autocad can convert my drawings to these formats but I can't figure out how to make the drawing backgroud transparent when I import the drawing to the LabView front panel.

It depends on what version of LV and what OS you are using. LV supports bitmaps without any transparent colors, and enhanced metafiles, but there were lots of trouble supporting plain metafiles. If you have a relatively recent version of LV and a Win32 platform, I'm pretty sure that EMF or enhanced metafiles will have little problem being imported into LV through the clipboard or the Import Picture command.
Earlier versions of LV and Win31 versions import different formats of bi tmaps.
