Grabber Software and Tektronix oscope

Hello,

I am trying to run the Tektronix 2201 Oscope and interact it with the Grabber Software, 2.0 on the computer.  It keeps giving me errror message 11 when I am trying to plot,  The instruction manual is no help to fix this problem. Has anyone used this setup and if so, any help would be great.  Also any guidence would be appreciated.

What is 'the Grabber Software, 2.0'? Is this a LabVIEW application? If not, then are you using LabVIEW at all? If you are not using LabVIEW, then you are posting to the wrong board.

Thanks, but I already have the program and instruction manual.  I was wondering if someone else has used this program. I have some problems with it.  Thanks

I'll say it's old. I couldn't even look at the readme.doc without installing a old import function into Word. This is a DOS program. I wouldn't expect this to work with any modern os and any recent GPIB board from NI.

novel concept, CALL TEKTRONIX! it is their software. 
My suggestion, find an old computer, install DOS 6.2.2 or older, and an ISA GPIB board (check ebay)... bet it works then.
If on the other hand, you describe what you want, someone here may have an app that will work in it's stead... but really this is not the forum for this line of help

i called tektronix, no help. long time service went out in 98.  If this is not where its suppose to be, sorry.  Where would i post it? everything loads and opens, but i get an error message while trying to import a waveform.  Its saying its not recongizing a command from the oscope.

If Tektronix doesn't support it...and they don't have a forum...I don't know, maybe usenet somewhere? Or the personals section of the Times?
