Generate single sine pulse waveform

I want to generate a single sine pulse waveform (one waveform only). I want to change the amplitude and frequency of the waveform before i generate it. Thanks.

Do you want to generate it on an analog output channel of a DAQ card?

Hi Dev,

Thank you again for your help. I am using PCI 6120 card. I will explain the test i want to do.

I have two transducers (transmitter and receiver). I will put a soil sample in between the two transducers. The purpose for the test is to measure the travel time through the soil sample. I will generate a single sine pulse waveform to the transmitter and the wave will propagate through the soil sample and collected by the receiver.

Therefore, I want to generate a single sinusoidal waveform to the transmitter transducer. I hope that the amplitude and frequency of this single sine waveform can be changed. Dev, thank you.

Then Function Generator.vi that can be found in examples shipped with LabVIEW should do the job for you

Just fo to search tab in Find examples and type ths VI name to find it

Thanks. The function generator.vi example generate continuous waveform, but i only want to generate only one wavelength waveform (one wavelength sine waveform with certain frequency and amplitude) when start to run the vi. Do you know where i can find this vi example? Thank you again. Bye.
