Generate executable file

Hi,

I am generating an executable file for a client using a developer computer (laptop). However, the executable file on the client’s laptop is running fine except one channel is not reading the same. The input is .216 vol but reading .170.

I am measuring voltage and temperature (8 input and 2 temperature). I am using 6062E card. I did a self-calibration in MAX but still reading wrong.

I would appreciate your help.

Does the channel that is readding incorrectly have an empty channel just before it? A floating channel can cause the channel after it to read incorrectly as the ADC does not have enough settling time. In this case, you can adjust the inter-channel delay or just put a short across the previous channel.

BTW, this happens with E-series cards and not with M-series cards.

Thank you for your reply Rob,

Shorting the channels did not improve the reading. It seems all the channels are not reading correctly not one as i stated before. However, discconect the user laptop from the power outlet (120 v) and running it on battery I get the correct reading. I connect all the 8 AIGND together I improved the reading %70.

I am measuring input voltage as NRS from a0 to a3 and a8 to a11. a5 and a6 as thermocouple k type. generated 5 and 0 V from DAC0OUT and DAQ1OUT.

I welcome Any more suggestions.

This is a matter of electrically grounding your laptop.
