Any chance you could make that available in 2011

Here it is.

Got it, thank you.  I'll mess with this and see what can be done.  But I have adopted the LabVIEW.ini solution and I'll just maintain a "Universal" app.ini file.

Also, RavensFan, is there a similar solution to this in Linux.  I can't find a LabVIEW.ini type file.  I know there's no .ini in Linux, but I'm not necessarily seeing anything that resembles a configuration file either.  Any knowledge of this?

I don't know anything about Linux.  I would assume there'd be some file or location or some place that LabVIEW would store configuration changes.  But where that would be, I don't know.

Ok, the plot thickens.  What about for WebServer?  There's a configuration file for that.  I pasted those exact same Font settings into the niwebserver configuration file.  It does not appear to have any affect on the font on the items on the Front Panel when viewed from a remote machine.  How does one see to it that those controls are viewed in the appropriate Font?  Because it's causing a serious mess.

I'm not familiar with that.

If I were you, I'd just go through all of my VI's and change all the fonts manual to specifically defined fonts and make sure nothing is still using those symbolic fonts that refer back to the "flavor of the day" for the OS.

Funny you should mention the setting of fonts... I just happen to be in the middle of discussing that exact topic.

This is the first part where I layout some of the background with an eye to creating a reusable widget to customize display fonts at runtime.
