GPS using MyRIO

I have interfaced SIM28ML GPS module with MyRIO.I connected the GPS Module using RS232 cable.I am getting the following error

"The resource is valid,but VISA cannot currently access it"

I have attached the VI and the screenshots of the error.Please help me to debug the error

Did you check the steps in the knowledge base here?

It sounds to me like something else might be blocking the communication. Do you run any terminal programs for testing that might still occupy the connection?

i had closed all other VI's and still i am getting this error .I used even crossed cable and still getting error.Please help me with this.

Have you tested the module with your PC instead of myRIO? Theoretically it should be pretty similar, but on windows it's probably easier to get started. Maybe even start with some console program before programming it in VISA.
