GDI Object leak(?) and LabVIEW crash.

First, I have no idea what I'm talking about and don't even know what GDI objects are, so leak is just a stab at what I'm seeing. Anyway, how to replicate on my machine:

First open Initialize Debug Window.vi. Hold control and drag around while observing GDI objects in task manager. It behaves normally.

Second, open Debug window.vi (just the front panel necessary), now go back to Initialize Debug Window.vi and hold control and drag any object. GDI objects will continue climbing and won't go back down. This inevitably leads to a crash for me.

I've tried recreating the Debug window with the same teststand objects, but the crash still happens.

(All code in LV2020 with TS2020 installed)

some other steps I'm trying

"Load when needed" did not fix the problem.

Updating my graphics card drivers did nothing.
