Front Panel Diamond Function

There is a point on the front panel where two heavier grid lines intersect.

This point looks somwhat like a diamond.

Does anyone know it's purpose?

Hi jspaarg,

      Front-panel objects have a "position" property an XY (Cartesian-coordinate) pair describing the object's location on the panel.  The diamond is at 0,0 and the +Y axis extends "down".
