Force tip strip display

I want to force a tip strip to display for 3 seconds when a control button is clicked on the front panel.  Is this possible?

Hi AntLee29,

There is no way to get the tip strip to display for a specific amount of time, but you can create a custom VI to do this.  Please look at the attached example for a starting point.

I have filed an internal product suggestion for this feature, but would highly recommend that you file a suggestion here as well.
