If you really want to grasp these concepts, I recommend doing your own breakdown.
We can explain the model of the FBN (or whatever concept) but the best way to make it stick is to scrutinize the concept over a few sessions (test, let it sink in, test, etc.). Than, for optimal results, explain it to someone else.

However, that will tell you all the options, but you won't grasp the ins and outs until you play with it. A lot.
