File integrity within Real-Time Linux

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello,

I want to use cRIO chassis with Real-Time Linux and I read the "NI LINUX REAL-TIME SECURITY USER GUIDE". There is a file integrity tool recommended, such as "integrit".

I try to install the tool, but opkg can't find the tool in its list. So I downloaded the tool manually. But when I try to install, I got the following error message:

Collected errors:
* Solver encountered 1 problem(s):
* Problem 1/1:
* - package integrit-4.1-1.1+b11.amd64 does not have a compatible architecture
*

I tried also with integrit-4.1-1.1+b11.i386, but with the same result.

Does anyone use the tool and how can I install? Otherwise, is there a alternative?

I use a cRIO-9040 with an Intel Atom.

Thank you

I guess as an alternative you can use Tripwire. It can be installed with the Linux package manager.

See these GitHub links to find info about "Integrit" and "Tripwire"

Integrit

TripWire

Hope it will help you.

Have a nice day!
