Dear Kenny,

thank you so much for your error log file. The part 'DAbort: Couldn't create 24 pen Error' (in the log file) is very important I noticed some earlier reports with the very same line, but it is really hard to reproduce this issue and with this finding the root of the problem. With this in mind I want to gather as much information as possible.

- You explained the error occurred at an executable as well. I understand from your last post that the error happened at in the development environment as well?

- Where you editing or running a VI? Is it always the same VI where it happens?

- Was the exe a build from the same VI?

- If it happens at various VI's what actions where you doing?

- If it is always with the same VI, can you also include the VI (and also the sub VI's) in your reply?

@ ben64 ; please post as well any further information / error logs as well

Sorry for the many questions, but with the earlier reports the R&D department wasn't able to reproduce the issue. Please feel free to provide any extra relevant information.

Have a great week,

Dear Martijn,

Yes, the error occurred in the exccecutable and in the development environment.

I was running a VI when the error occurred.

The application that we have is a "General VI" and within this VI is a screen ("Sub VI") which will change when we use the buttons in scada.

The error is not occurring at one VI, it is occurring randomly.

Yes, the executable was a build from the same VI.

It happens randomly, not exactly when some actions were done.

Last time I wanted to generate the error, but it took hours before the error occurred.

I hope you have enough information now and that you are able to find out what the problem is.

Regards,

Kenny

I've seen this happened with LV2009 but only when working with VIs developped in LV8.2. I don't have any error log. I never seen it happened with an executable, only in developpement mode and this always happen when moving things in the block diagram.

Hi Ben64,

I didn't rebuild all the VI's that I used in the application made with Labview 8.2, to use it in with Labview 2010.

Do you think that this can cause a problem?

Hi Martijn,

We are running the application on Labview 2011 now.

The following error came up:

"Error 0x9B027400 in drawmgr.cpp"

I also attached a screenshot of the error.

I don't know if this is the same error as I had before?

Do NI has new error codes or did they stay the same.

The customer didn't mail me the crash or made a printscreen of the report, only a screenshot of the error.

I told him to mail me the crash and report next time.

Can you tell me something about this error?

I hope to hear from you soon.

Regards,

Kenny

Got to pile on this one as well, we've been beating our heads on this error as well : "Error 0x9B027400 in drawmgr.cpp"

it's frustrating as hell as it is rather random and doesn't occure until at least 24 hrs after the program has started!

tried most everything. (I've had several tickets in with NI support to no avail, they even have all my code)

So is this fixed in SP1 or not?

My boss and his Boss are getting a bit frustrated with this, need to see some headway.

My log file shows I'm running Vers. 11.0

I've attached the failure log
