Hi there, 

I am having trouble setting up a Labview FPGA VI with a PXIe-7856R card which has two analogue inputs from a NI SCB-68A terminal that is collecting analogue data from a current probe.

I am able to see the card on MAX, but when I try to set up a VI, via a Labview project there is no target. (After right clicking "Project: Untitled project") I have the required software but I seem to be missing something as there are no RIO examples in the "Find Examples". 

I have Labview FPGA, Labview Real-time and the NI R series multifunctional RIO device drivers installed, is there anything else I need to do, to set up a FPGA VI? (I notice some tutorials have a FPGA wizard under the project templates but I do not seem to have this.)

Do you mean that you don't have these elements?

Thank you for getting back to me. Unfortunately no I do not have all of those elements. I have attached a picture of what I currently have.

Am I missing some drivers/ software?

You don't need all these elements. For PXIe-7856 you need RT-PXI. So try to search there.
