Hi,

Hopefully a very short question, I am working with NI Framegrabber PCIe-1473R. I am trying to use the Vision RIO VIs, like Vision RIO Open FPGA Reference VI, but I get the following error:

IMAQ IO:  The device was not found.

Is it possible that I am not able to use this VIs with my frame grabber? Or do I have to open them in a certain way?

Hi Antonia,

is there any particular reason why you are trying to use the Vision RIO pallette instead of the regular one? It's supposed to be used for synchronization and triggering configuration on RIO enabled GigE/Firewire boards and CVSs (http://www.ni.com/white-paper/14599/en/).

Did you try to run one of the examples, like Image Processing with Vision Assistant on FPGA, that are designed for 1473R?
