FPGA mode using cRIO9074 and NI 9225 modules

Solved!
Go to solution

I want to write a LabView program using cRIO9074 and NI modules NI9227 (current) and NI 9225 (voltage) measurements.

How can I write a program to read I/V waveforms using FPGA mode.

Can I get a sample program to read I/V waveforms using cRIO in FPGA mode?

Hi meharda,

Open the example finder and search for your hardware (9225/9227).

Then you will find example VIs for your RIO modules…

Do you have the FPGA module installed and licensed?

To program the FPGA in your cRIO you need that module and a (paid) license for this module…

Also note: the cRIO907x is quite old and not supported by modern FPGA compilers. Check the requirements for that specific target (regarding which Xilinx compiler to install and which WindowsOS is needed by the compiler) and check if you can use the NICompileFarm service based on your current license…

I have installed FPGA module and its 2015 version.

I am trying in FPGA mode because, NI module of Voltage and current did not providing correct waveforms in scan engine mode.

Thanks
