FPGA compiler worker

The FPGA compilation time in a more powerful computer turned out to be slower.

I read before that the FPGA compiler does not take advantage of multi core processors, but it still does not make sense to me.

I set the process to be high priority and affinity.

Any comments?

Thank you

mjochinsen,

Which version of the compile tools are you using? Are you compiling the exact same code?

There's a trick here for significantly speeding up the compilation process on certain CPUs: http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW-FPGA-Idea-Exchange/Multi-core-Compiling/idc-p/2301338#M297

(It looks like your CPU is supported)
