Export a lot of data to text (or any other Matlab readable format) from a database with MAX only

I have a ton of data collected by someone else via Labview that I'd like to analyze in Matlab.  I see that MAX has a niftly export to text option, and it pretty much suits my purposes with a few snags.

1)  it looks like you have to export everything manually.  Is there any way to automate the export process?  I.e. can I have it export channel Q to files in 1 day increments for the years X-Y?

2)  Whenever I had multiple channels to a single trace and hit export it forces me to interpolate.  I'm not interested in interpolating -- I want the pure, unadulterated data.  How can I get around this issue?

Hi David2H,

Thanks for posting on the discussion forums.  Unfortunately this function in MAX is very limited in its functionality, and is only used for quick easy transfers of data.  The best solution to this problem would be to have the LabVIEW program that the data is collected in also create an output file you could work with.  If you feel that MAX needs this functionality you can propose a product suggestion here.
