I have a vi that contains the VISA Configure Serial Port vi. I've been developing the vi in which this resides for some time with no problem. When I create and run an executable file (.exe) on my own pc, I get error code 1073807246, "resource is valid but VISA cannot currently access it." What does this mean? I did not create an "installation". Is this necessary?
Message mean that another process has control of the COM port. Does your vi "close" the port after you are done using it? Did you shutdown LV environment before running your .exe?
