Executable (built) s/w version changes format of marker notations

Building an executable version of an application causes problems when displaying the marker annotations on some (but not all) horizontal fill slides.  The format for the marker annotations are changed from Floating Point Notation to Relative Time (seconds).  This is a large application (> 100 vi's) which displays the horizontal fill slides properly when running the non-executable version.

Hello,

What version of LabVIEW are you using?  I haven't heard of a problem like this for a recent version, but I will look into it for the version you note.  I understand you have a large application, but is it possible to use a property node to set the scale format directly in your application?  The attached screenshot segment shows how for reference.

Thanks, and I look forward to your repost!

Thanks for your reply,

We are using LabVIEW 5.1.1.  It seems possible to use a property node to set the scale format directly as you suggested - that may be something to try.  I certainly appreciate you looking into this problem for 5.1.1.

Thanks again,
CTE

Hi,

I notice I forgot to attach the screenshot - sorry, and it should be here!  Also, I didn't find any documentation on that problem, but it could be that the problem was noted, fixed in a future version, and then archived too deep to be indexed by the search any longer.  I hope it will be appropriate to use the property node in a few places to solve the problem, since aside from upgrading the version of LabVIEW, that may be the only solution 😞

Thanks, and I look forward to hearing back from you!

Thanks again for your time and your replies.  I am not sure what we will do about this problem but I will let you know in the end.  At least we have some information to go with in deciding what to do.

Sincerely,
CTE
