I have deleted "Set Attibute.vi" every time I open the "Set Pulse Specs.vi" the panel just keeps coming up. I need to insert it as a VI?

yes you need to add it as a vi to the block diagram. Using the select a vi palette on the block diagram navigate to the zadvdctr.llb and open it. It will then allow you to select the vi that is contained in the llb. Hope this helps.

Hi,

The select a vi utility in the functions palette gives you the flexibility to select a vi and recall it in the application you are building and thereby use it as a subvi.

This method is clearly used for instantiating a set of vi's the user wants to use in his application.
