Event Driven Programming

Which examples you mean ?

There are a lot of them inside LV Example Finder itself. Smiley Happy

Go to Help Menu -->> Find Examples and in that go to Search tab & type "events"; you ll get many examples surely.

If you want to know more about the system of LabVIEW and event driven programming, it might be usefull to read this.
Unfortunately you don't have LabVIEW 8.0 since that includes XControls which are event driven.
You could install OpenG builder with VIPM.  And install it.

Run it from the Tools-menu, and hit ctrl-. to stop it open up the block diagram and have a look.

What you see is a quite good event-driven state machine architecture (as a C programmer you should know that).

Have fun
