Error using LabVIEW Player Toolkit

I am getting an error (something about a block diagram not being found) when using the Player Toolkit w/ LabVIEW 6.1. I searched past questions and this problem was first brought up back in May. Is there any progress on a fix or a workaround that I am somehow missing?

Also, when the Player is installed on a system that already has a development system installed, it still changes files associations for ".vi" and ".llb" to itself. I think this is the wrong behaviour and that this should only be done on a system that does not already have a development system installed. [My 2 cents worth]

Thanks,

Todd

Do you get the error with all player VIs? It may be that the VI was saved in LabVIEW 6i without the diagram which would prevent it from opening in LabVIEW 6.1. Search for LabVIEW player in the example programs for test subjects.

I get the error when I try to invoke the Generate Key... option from the Tools menu, with no VI opened.

Hi Todd

I'm sorry to say it, but at the moment LV Player/Toolkit is not working with LV 6.1.

Thanks for the answer.

The Player Toolkit website should be updated to state that it does not support LV 6.1. LV 6.1 has been out for some time now. It's just a waste of everyone's time to download the toolkit only to find out that it doesn't work, then post questions to find out the status, etc.
