Error message NIPathDir property while installation

Hi,
we are facing an error while installation of Lab VIEW 8.2.1 on windows vista. Each time an Fatal Error message appears ;
"fatal error   NIPathDir property....is undefined"
Please tell me the solution for this error.

Hi Altaf

Only the LV version 8.5 is certified for windows vista.

Hi Lars,

Thanks a lot

I made all these cahnges in Vista's documents setting but problem still persists. One thing is that in Vista, there is teh foldername "Documents" not "My Documents"..!! But I also tried both name in I created the folder name C:\Users\My Documents

Even then it doesnt work.

Something that would also be helpful would be to run the installer with the logging option, and post the resultant log file.  You can generate a log like this:  setup.exe /log logfile.txt
