Error has occurred when listing the contents of xxx.llb

Help! I get the above error when opening a VI Library. Is there any way at all to recover the contents or some of the contents?

You should ask NI Support if they are able to repair your LLB. From the heading I could see that this should be a LLB created from a LV on a Windows system (if I interpret the first few bytes right).

Hello Aljrob,

Thank you for contacting National Instruments.

I was able to uncorrupt 10 VIs from your LLB file. I hope this is everything you needed.

Let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

I have a similar problem to the one described above, and I contacted an NI engineer, and he applied a .llb decorruptor vi and it did no good (we tried the other file referenced in a message above, and it worked fine for that).  Can anyone help?

Good news!  It turns out that I got all my files just fine as I had backed them up, so I don't need anyone to pick the file apart from my last message.

Good, as it's not very likely that some other than NI could recover your VIs. I'd also like to mention that I don't think it's a very good idea to store development VIs in an llb. A single bad VI can corrupt your entire file.

I too believe I am having a similar .vi or .llb corruption issue.  I can not however attach my code in a public forum to try and have it uncorrupted.  Is there an e-mail that I can use to send my .llb to NI to see if the file can be recovered?
