Error for PDA Module Tutorial

Hi all,

        I am just start used LabVIEW PDA module software.I found some error when i run my tutorial and my Window Mobile Emulator 5.0 also never come out..I am a new user for this software and i really don't understand about this software.I am a beginer.So Anyone please can show me what is the error and what is error about.?

Hai Nyan Lin,

Collect all the VI's and C files in the same folder.

Also check whether you have given the correct path to access the files.

Whether you got same error before creating exe?

Hi Mathan,

                  Thanks for ur reply.I make double check my VIs and C files also contain in same folder.The problem is that after i debug, the error come out.I can run my tutorial inside the front panel.But when i transfer to PDA emulator,the emulator never come out and the error as in pic is come out.I all follow through is by tutorial sheet that from NI. I am a bit confuse is although the emulator have inside my software, i can't see it.So is there any way to solve my problem? I urgently need to know how to transfer to PDA for my final year project.Now i am doing final year project from Nanyang Polytechnic (Singapore).So I am thanks a lot to give me ur time for me.

Can you please tell me what tutorial you are using? (Where did you find it). Once I have it, I will try to reproduce the error to see what the problem is.

Hi Eli,

      I am using the Getting started with the LabVIEW PDA Module for Windows mobile for version 8.5 which is contain in the labVIEW software.This tutorial you can also find from following link.Thanks for help me and sorry for reply late.

I have gone through the tutorial and it works just fine. I did not run into any problems deploying it.

Are you sure you have LabVIEW PDA module installed?

I would try re-installing LAbVIEW PDA module because there really isn't a lot to this tutorial; its only one VI. After re-installing the PDA module I would try going through the tutorial agin carefully following all the instructions.

Also, after reinstalling the PDA module, install Microsoft Virtual PC from this link: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=04d26402-3199-48a3-afa2-2dc0b40a73b6&DisplayLang=en

hi, elli i am installed Labview 8.0.1 PDA module  using ni  Software cd ... but i did n't get the options for  target devices. i  installed pocket pc sdk and emulator also. but it shows no avaliable devices... Ple tell me regions

Hi Nag123,

What do you mean by you did not get any devices? You should be able to add a target to the Project Explorer by doing the following.

1) Create a new project
2) In the Project Explorer, right-click the project (at the top of th window) and select New » Targets and Devices...
3) Select Existing target or device
4) Select the OS you are using from the PDA folder.

If you installed the PDA module the PDA folder should be populated with all the devices it supports.
