hi dennis.thanks for your immense help. Well the code is something -24357678934 some thing like this and i understand the activex nt being able to run at your end. however i have see the activex class in the browse and have correctly installed and there is no other dll that is in the same folder or any error on that front. i will attach the vi's tomo. ihave also changed the code as you said and have made two close reference than just one as you have used it and there is no connection between the 34401 driver and and my vi, it works fine though.will let u know tomo. in detail..thanks again for the help.
