After I sent that last post, I was able to get the drivers installed on my computer correctly and see what you were seeing.
The Get Power Range.vi won't work on its own because the device hasn't been initialized.
First you will need to use the initialize.vi to initialize the instrument using the resource name (that long string I mentioned in the previous post "USB0::..."). See if this VI will run by itself without throwing errors.
I hope this helps!

Hello agin, Peter-E.
In thorlabs dataloger, it calls it by it's manual device string. I gave it an allias, but I think it went irrelevant;
And what do you mean by "options" ? The thing is, if I right-click on the instrument handle it gives me "Edit VISA resource"," I/O Name filtering"," properties". Which one?
If the VISA resource, the the settings are shown it the attachment.
I don't know if I game him anything exept for the Allias. How do I set the IVI logical name in MAX?

Sorry, didn't see there was a next page already.
The initialize VI works perfectly fine, without any errors. It gives a return value of -1073807343. And then rises the next question. I can't link the two Instrument handles, because one is number, the over is a VISA session of class. They just won't sync. Also the return value is nowhere near the instrument handle allias or its manual name.

You are not making any sense to me. You say that the initialize works but then you say it returns -1073807343. That is a specific error code - not an instrument handle. I really don't know what you are attempting to do.
Please open MAX and select 'Configure my IVI Instrument Drivers'. There is also a whole help section in MAX about IVI. You really need to understand how IVI works before you try to use an IVI driver.
