Error 7 occurred at Open VI Reference

Hello, 

I'm trying to run a RT VI from a host VI the problem is that error 7 occured, I'm almost sure about the location of the file. 

Possible reason(s):

LabVIEW: File not found. The file might be in a different location or deleted. Use the command prompt or the file explorer to verify that the path is correct.

Hi nbehar,

which IP/path do you use to call that VI? Why do you want to start the VI this way?

Why don't you create a RTEXE that starts at power up of the myRIO?

I have to create a user interface that allows to input some data before taking the measurements. I need to write in a folder before taking the measurements with my RT target device (myRIO). But I found my mistake -> the path was not well defined (I had to create a destination source) for the RT VI.
