Error 1379 with VI server

I keep getting error 1379: user failed a security authentication check when trying to setup a TCP communication. I do not have multiple network cards, as other forums suggest to examine. All permissions on the VI server options page seem to be correct. I have disabled firewalls. I am out of ideas. Any ideas can help.

Thanks!

Hello, I work at home and I work in the office. I always have to reboot my computer between location changes due to the way the computer connects to the different networks. The customers most likely will operate on one network. The customers most likely won't have the issues associated with changing networks. If the customer upgrades their network, one machine reboot does not seem like a huge ask.

If restarting the computer is taking a long time, perhaps you can switch to an NVMe drive instead of a hard drive?

Good Luck! if not solved we can trace error together

Can you say more about what you're trying to do, why you're doing it, and how you're doing it?  Details about the "how" might give more information about what you are doing so someone might see something that's set up wrong, and details about "why" might let us give suggestions of alternate things you could try to achieve the same goal.

Also, any details about networking and the connection you are trying to make could be helpful.  Is this a PC connecting to itself, to another PC next to it, to another PC in the same company, or a PC connecting over the internet?  If it's not a PC connecting to itself, whatever details about the connection between them might be relevant.

Hi,

Thanks for trying to help. It is a PC trying to connect to itself. The keithley_lv_ctrl_caller.vi tries to grab the value of an indicator from the keithley_lv_ctrl_mod.vi.

The VI works on a different computer, but it is not working on the computer it needs to work on. This makes me think there is some internal computer setting is awry, but I have no idea what to change.
