Error 1074388985 at every Frame API CAN Examples

hi, i work with the NI USB-8473 high speed can box, and LabView Version 8.2 when i try out any NI CAN FrameAPI examples (CAN Transmit - event based.vi, CAN Receive.vi,..); the Error Message "1074388985" already appears at the ncConfigCANNET.vi the installation & configuration should be ok. Any Idea? Thanks, Ralf

Deat M. Lang,

I search about the problem that you posted.

On our web site, I found some informations and some helps about that:
The first thing is a page which explain the supported function of your device:
http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/E1A44077DA6C819186257288006B76D7?OpenDocument

The next one is a Forum with some explanations about how to use the function:
http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=278249&requireLogin=False

Can you please send me more informations about the program, the driver and the versions that you use?

Have a nice day.

Matthieu

hi Matthieu,

thx for your reply.

i've found yesterday morning one cause for the error-message (after software re-install);

-> it's not possible to start the ni can bus monitor & afterwards using any can.vi application.

is that a normal thing?

greets Ralf

Hi,

did you read the links that I posted?

I think that you did not close the reference on the CAN or something else.

Let me know.

hello,

yes, i've read the posted links (supported functions & Error code 0xBFF62007 using ncConfigCANNet.vi)

but i didn't have another open reference or something else;
the only open application was the "can bus monitor" from the measurement & automation explorer.
