the VI you need (to send e-mails) is included in the NI Internet Tollkit
already, and you don't need to write it by yourself. There are two
categories of e-mail sender VIs in the Internet Toolkit: one is a simple
mail sender that utilises the telnet port 25 protocol and the second is a
complex and a real SMTP complete server. I've been using Internet Toolkit
for sending mails and publish panels on the web since two years and from LV
version 4.0. Version 5.1 includes some IT functionnalities.
