But I can draw something up if you would really like. 🙂

Yes, please do. How about a 2D array of clusters?

That toolbar class is a bit difficult for me to comprehend, let alone try to use it in my program. I do not even have my CLAD yet, sigh. I am looking through the examples and have seen some really good ones. I appreciate all the help, and will give ben the accepted solutions. Thanks.

I can make a new topic if necessary, but my question is about SimpleScale.vi in the find examples section. It's simple really, why do the numbers show up twice/thrice on the picture. I am including a screenshot. Thanks. CaptureGraph.PNG

Because you set the precision to 0 decimal digits and there are several markers with the same truncated integer value. Increase the precision to see fractional markers.

Yes alten, I tried that before posting but what if I need them to be without decimals, why are there several markers with the same value. This isn't necessary for what I am doing, its just fmi.

(posting by phone).

I think you can look at the subvi and modify as needed.

Alright I got it working for that particular one.

Another question, I know my min/max, I know the x and y mouse position of the picture. How do I get my min/max to pass in the data, with respect to the the x and y position of the picture.

I know I am supposed to use property nodes bounds and position with the button on the picture, but do I map it out or is there another easier way.

Not sure exactly what you are trying but I will mention...

Using a prototype control that is hidden or in a sub-VI can save a lot of work. Set the hidden control the way you want, Invoke node >>> Get image Then add that to the picture where you want it.

You can loop through using the same control as the proto-type for multiple controls.

If you want to speed it up you can get the image once, cache the image and then over write a part of the background to do updates.

Just sharing what I learned when I wrote those types of applications.

I set the hidden control on the picture in the front panel, did the invoke node of the button >>Get image. But, what do I add from the invoke node to the picture.

Is there an example which comes to your mind about this? Thanks for the quick response and being patient with a newbie.

Now if you posted some code I would not have to guess at what you really need.

Did you try out the code I included in reply #12 of that Nugget thread?

In that example I used a customized Boolean as the source of my image and inserted the image in the picture at the location where you click.

Does that get you anywhere?
