Does the real "PXIe-4300"-instrument record permanently? How can I record a single wave?

Hello,

I need to use the "PXIe-4300". As I have not installed the real device at the test bench now, I use the simulated instrument with the help of Measurement & Automation Explorer and LabVIEW. The instruments and my VIs accessing the PXIe-4300 are running well.

In the MAX I can select that only one definite wave is recorded. That is excactly what I need.

Is it possible to configure the real instrument in a way that it only records one wave as well? How can I do it? Or do I have to implement a separate VI to set the measurements of PXIe-4300?

The whole point of simulation is that you can configure the simulated device in the exact same manner as with an actual device. So, you do not have to change a thing in your code. You will only need to name the actual device the same as the simulated device.
