Does Control Panel = Control Palette?

Is the control panel the same thing as the control pallete?  If it is where do I find the add/remove software tab?  Thank you!

No. The Control Panel is a Windows thing. The Control Palette is inside of LabVIEW. I'm guessing you haven't used Windows much, like you're either just getting started with computers or coming from a different OS. The Control Panel is accessed from the Start menu at the bottom left of your desktop. Select Start->Control Panel. At that point if you're in Category view click on the "Add/Remove Programs" link. If you're in Classic view you'll see individual icons for each control panel applet. Double-click on "Add/Remove Programs".

Just a suggestion: you may want to pick up a cheap book on Windows.

no, control pallate contains the indicators, control and user interface options. whereas the control panel is the gateway for managing the windows options.
