Distinct task for digital inputs

hello,

I am using three different  digital I/O cards(two PXI cards and one SCXI 1162HV card). If i want to configure the task through DaQMx should i used different task for each cards. I have used same task for all the cards. Its giving some error i am working in LV 7.1 and NI DaQMx 7.5. If it is not possible can we do using LabVIEW 8 and NI DaQ 8.

No, a Task cannot span accross cards. You'll need to create a Task for each card and read them each independently.
