Disconnect type def LV2013

Solved!
Go to solution

I've searched online and the Help/Example finder in LV with no luck. Everything I've found says to simply right click the instance and choose Disconnect type def. Unfortunately, the only option available I see is Open Type def. I don't want to delete the type def because it is linked to several other instances. Pretty embarrassed to ask such a simple question. I'm hoping it's hidden in a shortcut or menu. Thanks.

Right-click on the front panel, not on the block diagram.

Wow, thank you. I keep forgetting the panels are linked but separate.

I think that should be fixed and the option made available from the BD. Opening the FP might send you who know where and creating a mess in the FP bound location.
