Disable

When I try to disable special keys in LabVIEW DSC (Tools->Datalogging&Supervisory Control->Options... menu item, Advanced tab, Security Preferences button, Advanced tab) by setting a level security greater then 0, everything works fine, until I run the application in RunTime system. DSC RTS fail to launch, unless I manualy remove the security level by editing the file lvsec.cfg (item "defaultKeyboardAcces"). If I set this item again to 0, the RunTime system work again.
I use LabVIEW 6.0, and DSC 6.0. Is this a bug? Need to be fixed or upgraded to another version?

Hi Nelutzu,

We have not received any reports of this type of behavior in the past. The best course of action at this point is to first upgrade to LabVIEW 6.0.2, DSC 6.0.2 and DSC RTS 6.0.2. It would not be productive to troubleshoot the porblem in 6.0. To upgrade your software, please contact National Instruments Technical Support. The best method for this is to go to www.ni.com/support and click on "Request Support" and take the time to initiate a service request. This will give you priority access to National Instruments Applications Engineers.
