Difference in output between extract tone and amplitude spectrum

Hi,

from the red current waveform in the attached image, I'm trying to determine the frequency of the waveform and its corresponding amplitude. I have produced an amplitude spectrum and have used extract tone .vi to determine the frequency and amplitude. The problem is that the results they output are not the same. Am I missing something from my understanding? They are both analysing the same data.
