Difference HP4145A and 4155A

Could somebody tell me what the differences are between the HP4145A and
HP 4155A
semiconductor parameter analysers. And also the difference between the A
and B series. Are the labview drivers compatible, or what kind of
adjustments do I have to make, to become a good working HP4145A driver.

the hp4145 is an old model with an awkward very restricted commandset. The 4155 is a newer model that has almost the same functionality but a new skippy like command language. We have both ghere at our lab and for support reasons (by hp) we are getting rid of the old ones for the newer ones.
both are semiconductor parameter analyzers and both are ok for the job.

There's an Instrument Driver for the 4155 on the NI site as well. You can find it by going to http://www.ni.com/idnet and then by going to the downloads section and searching for 4155.
