DeviceNet loop scan for instruments

Hello,

The black art of DeviceNet within Labview. Help !
I have a device that I need to scan to assertain the MacId, then if incorrect I then need to change the MacId to the correct one.
I am looking for something much the same as the Simple Who software that is supplied with Labview, but I need to get at the code and change stuff.
Anyone done anything like this, may have something of use ?

I have never built an application like this before, however, I did find this KnowledgeBase on NI's website which seems to be describing what you are wanting to do. Once you have determined the MacID of the device, this tells you how to change the MacID. I hope this helps.
