Decorations on Tab Control

I am using tab controls for Labview PDA 7.1, which is great since allows me to work without so many subvis, but every decoration that i put in one tab appears on the other tabs, obviosuly I dont want that. It has happened to anybody before?, does it have a solution?, any suggestion?
Thanks

Dear Matix,

Thank you for contacting National Instruments.

To address your question, this commonly occurs when the decoration isn't added to the tab, but is only placed above it. It is easiest to do this by placing the object beside the tab control, select it, then using the keyboard arrow keys, manuever it where you need it onscreen. It should have little shadows projecting below it showing that it is floating above the tab. When run, the shadows disappear and the object will appear to be a part of every tab. You could actively hide it for the exceptions.

If you do not want the decoration to appear on every tab, make sure upon creation of the decoration to include it inside the tab control. There will be no shadows around the decoration.

Let m
e know if you have any further questions or if this does not resolve your issue.

Thanks again and have a great day!

puting the decoration inside the tab control makes it visible only on that particular tab and no in the other tabs, but that's what i see on PC Screen. When I actually download the VI to the PDA the decoration appears on every tab. So...is not working, any other suggestion?
Also, how do you actively hide a decoration?
Thanks

Hi Matix,

Thanks for responding. Sounds like a bug. Before jumping to conclusions, can you simplify the program so the program consists of nothing except the tab control and the decoration? If it still behaves the same way, please send me your code so I can request corrective action for PDA version 7.1. I can't reproduce your issue here. It works for me.

Thanks!
