Date Time String To Seconds

Does anybody have a LabView VI to convert DateTime strings to seconds? I used the "Format Date/Time String.vi" with "%c" to get the DateTime string in local format and write it to a config file. After reading this key in another part of my application I need to convert the this string to seconds depending on the local date Time format.
