Database Fetching Example

The 'Fetching Example.vi' in the Database connectivity toolkit will work in LabVIEW 8.2 but will not work in LabVIEW 8.5. 

I get:

"Error 3005 occurred at Conn Execute.vi->Fetching Example.vi       

Possible reason(s):

Automation Open: Object specified is not creatable in Conn Execute.vi->Fetching Example.vi"

We looked into this a little and found no difference between the two vi's and the error was originating from the Conn Execute.vi

The issue that you are describing is actually a known issue with the toolkit that is document internally in our Corrective Action Request (CAR) # 66867.

Would you be able to let me know what version of the Toolkit you have by checking the version in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX)? 
Also, do you have LabVIEW 8.5.1 available to you?

The version of the Database Connectivity Toolset is 1.0.132

I think I might be able to get LabVIEW 8.5.1, will it work in 8.5.1?

For now, Iim using the non-fetching method.

Yes, please try this and let me know whether it works.

I was initially under the impression that it had to do with the version of the toolset, but I did see a mention of it maybe working with 8.5.1.  I can try this out at our end, but please feel free to use 8.5.1 in the meantime to test it.
