Data available block?

One issue I keep running into is Labview waiting for data to be available before continuing on. Is there a Labview block that instructs Labview to use data if it is available, but otherwise use some default value (that I define)?

Your question is a bit too vague. Who's consuming the data and who's producing the data?

To directly answer your question: no. You would need to modify the producer of the data to generate default data.
