Data acquisition with the Riso TL/OSL system using LabVIEW

Dear All,

I'm developping a labVIEW program to perform Tl and OSL measurements with the TL/OSL system from Riso ("Riso Reader"). All my subVI's work perfectly, except for the data-acquisition subVI after performing the Tl measurement. The data the "Visa Read" VI produces makes no sense. The problem is I don't no the format etc. of the intensities in the data channels and how the MiniSys provides them etc.

I hope someone recognizes the problems with using labview for data-acquisition, instead of for example sequence pro, the standard data acquisition program for the riso reader and already knows how to get the data from the minisys.

Usally this information can be found in the Manual of the Instrument. If not you could try and contact Riso for this information.

Dear Karsten,

First, thank you for your reply, it's really appreciated. The problem is that the information in the manual doesn't say anything on how to collect the datapoints (intensities in the datapoints) or what format they have when leaving the MiniSys, etc.. I also have contacted several people at Riso Labs, but no response or they don´t know also...

So I try every angle to tackle this problem, including posting at this kind of forums.
